We have now re-opened our restaurant! Owners were pleased to be able to meet with other owners, socially distanced, to enjoy a Smoked Salmon salad.

We couldn't let the lovely Kelly say "cheerio" (not goodbye) without giving her the send off that she deserved. Having been part of our Team here at Brompton since November 2018, Kelly had become so popular and dearly loved by both staff and Owners, it wasn't a surprised to see so many come and join in the farewell celebrations. Kelly moved to England from South America a number of years ago and has always felt that Brompton has become her extended "family", making her decision to move on a particularly difficult one! We hope to still see her from time to time here at the Court and wish her every success for the future.
  What a fun night this turned out to be, especially as it was the first "inside event" here at Brompton since Lockdown. A great turn out, with entertainer Dave Walsh at the keyboard, who had everyone signing along to some of the all-time favourites... from "Show Me The Way To Go Home" and "You'll Never Walk Alone" to pieces from "Phantom of the Opera" and "Les Mis". A wonderful cheese platter was enjoyed by the Owners, with wine that flowed all evening. There were smiles from everyone, with a couple of 'encores' thrown in for good measure! A huge thanks to Suzie for organising the event, and to Lynn & Nicola for working the event. A really enjoyable evening.
We are pleased to say that our Dining Room is open following the relaxation of COVID restrictions. Our lounge is open for coffee but not for organised events until the 21st June. We are open for Helen with our Wednesday 'Keep Fit' Class, and Gill from Nail Candy. Several events have been booked with a birthday party, a buffet and entertainer in early July and Pimm's on the Patio in late August. The monthly Quiz Nights are restarting in September and the Whist Drive in July. The re-turfing of the driveway lawns has been completed and the wisteria in the main rear garden is in full bloom. Owners and staff at Deercote Court were honoured to take part in the birthday celebrations marking Mrs Hill reaching the amazing milestone of 101 years old. We would like to wish Mrs Hill many happy returns on the day, good health and happiness. Let's all cheer once again "hip, hip, hooray" to the remarkable lady that Babs is.
