On Monday 25th July Blenheim Court celebrated the 80th Birthday of popular resident Anne Haynes. The social committee did themselves proud once again providing nibbles and bubbly, and resident baker Sarah made one of her delicious cakes for the occasion. Happy Birthday Anne!

Yet again our Owners enjoyed a BBQ on the terrace and was attended by lots of our residents and several guests as well. The food and wine were well received, and we had a great afternoon, enjoying the glorious sunshine.
Thanks to our cook Sean and all the staff for their help. After 17 years of dedicated service, one of our Duty Managers, Lynne Courtney-Smith has decided it's time to spend more time with her family! With lots of grandchildren and an elderly mother, she's looking forward to creating memories with her nearest and dearest and everyone here at Brompton wishes to bid her 'farewell'. Many of our Owners & Staff gathered to express their gratitude and she was presented with a number of beautiful gifts. Lynne very kindly gifted the Court with a beautiful 'Wind Spinner', that has pride of place in the garden.
Everyone here wishes all the best in her Retirement. Please don't be a stranger and pop in to see us from time to time! Having been restricted in Lockdown when he turned 90 years old, Graham Harrison's family were determined to celebrate the auspicious occasion, even 2 years later! It was a great gathering of friends and family who all came from far and wide to celebrate with Graham. A lovely lunch and two beautifully celebratory cakes were enjoyed by all, raising a glass or two in his honour.
Many thanks to Suzie, Carl and all the Staff involved, who helped to make this Brompton luncheon so special. And before we knew it, it was "Pimm's o'clock" with strawberries & cream for all our Owners! How we love Wimbledon and in its 100th Year, it was such a lovely excuse to indulge in something very naughty but very nice! With a good number of avid tennis fans amongst the crowd here at Brompton, there is always lots of excitement surrounding Wimbledon and you can feel the energy around the Court. It was a very pleasant time spent in our beautiful gardens here, with some lovely sunshine for all to enjoy!
Thanks to Carl and the Team for helping to make this such an enjoyable start to the Wimbledon Tournament. Latest news coming soon - please call back!

Owners celebrated the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with a buffet, drinks, music and a suitably themed quiz with a prize for the winner. This started early lunchtime but carried on well into the evening. A good time was had by all with enough food to take some home for supper too!
On Thursday 30th June, 12 owners from Eastbank Court went on an outing to the Severn Valley Railway. They all enjoyed the train journey, and it was lovely for owners to be able to get out and about together! A thank you to the board and social committee for organising the trip and to Mr and Mrs Herington for being on hand to assist with any questions!
