During the election campaign we had the honour of welcoming Labour candidate, Jessica Toale, and serving Conservative MP, Connor Burns, to Brompton Court. Both were very engaging with the owners and making a plea to be elected to serve Bournemouth West. Alas, after 14 years, it was time for Connor to step down and hand over the job to Jessica. Thank you Connor Burns for your dedication and service, but huge congratulations to Jessica Toale MP; we wish her every success in her new role serving our town.
 Fine Dining Evening... Italian Night with Opera Singer Yuri Sabatini... Pimm's Afternoon in the Garden... Court Manager Steve and Chef John...  On Thursday 4th July, 14 owners from Eastbank enjoyed a visit to Harvington Hall near Kidderminster. The Hall dates back to the 14th Century and was once a residence of the Earl of Warwick. The owners enjoyed a full guided tour around the hall followed by tea and cake. The outing was enjoyed by all who attended.
Bingo Prize Night on the 5th of April was well attended and popular as always! Cassie was a wonderful announcer.
Race Night on the 17th of May. The owners enjoyed a night of fun betting on the horses for set prizes. Alex organised the event. Pimm’s Evening on the 28th of June. Canapés and Pimm’s were served with a non-alcoholic alternative. James and Sandra hosted. Owners at Brompton Court rocked on down to the Great Hall and listened and danced to a selection of popular music from the fifties, sixties and more. Hosted by John Ward, he had a vast array of music to hand (he has a very impressive music collection)! Memories flowed of days gone by… a good night was had by all. |
