We wished Gordon Duff, (our very own Burns Night Chieftain) a very Happy 90th Birthday. Celebrating his special day with family and residents, it was a thoroughly enjoyable day had by all. Gordon asked guests to not send him birthday cards but to instead give their pennies to Macmillan Cancer Support and a fantastic £410 was raised. Bravo Gordon! Special thanks to Patrick Peiro and his Jazz trio who played delightfully throughout the afternoon, and to the Brompton staff who all worked so hard to make this event truly special. A delightful afternoon was had at Brompton with lashings of tea accompanied by the obligatory scones, cream and jam. Owners sat out in the garden on a balmy afternoon, relaxed and enjoyed the dulcet tones from local singer and songwriter, Sleepy Jake. As you can see, he too was spoiled, the cat who got the cream!
 Owners at Deercote Court joined the staff today for the world’s biggest coffee morning and fundraising event to support people living with cancer. At our Macmillan Coffee Morning we raised an amazing total of £330.00!
