Browning Court's Macmillan Coffee Morning was a great success. Owners stayed until lunch time enjoying their tea, coffee, cake and catch up. Homemade cakes made by our brilliant cook, Natalie.

Browning Court has been unwinding from the Summer and getting ready for Autumn, but not without our last Summer Barbecue which was enjoyed by all. There was also an impromptu Raffle and we served Homemade Steak burgers and Fresh Onions, with a Tropical Juice.
As the weather is changing we are hosting a number of activities including Coffee Morning's in conjunction with bringing a range of fashions. We are now also serving Hot Chocolate in the Bistro along with Scrambled egg and Bacon! Deercote Court raised a brilliant £240.00 for Macmillan at their coffee morning!
Brompton were once again proud to host a Macmillan fundraising event for people facing cancer. Our owner Lena Hack, with help from friends & Suzie our Duty Manager, again organized this year’s Macmillan Coffee Morning held on Friday 28th September in the Great Hall. We had so much to enjoy, a raffle with some super prizes, guess the name of the teddy bear, how many sweets in the jar, guess the weight of the fruit cake, a large bric-a-brac table of goodies and a stall selling cards and stationary. Plus of course lots of homemade cake and jams donated by owners, guests, staff and volunteers. The event was a massive success raising over £1,500.00 for the charity. A big thank you to Lena, Suzie and all the volunteers on the day; we could not have done it without you.
