Live music, by the very talented vocalist Aaron James, had the room filled with smiling faces and found many Owners dancing the night away.
Thanks to Suzie, Carl, Claire and Nick Foulkes for making this night such a success.
Brompton Court was buzzing as Owners gathered for an evening of entertainment, together with a great selection of cheese & biscuits to soak up the gin that was flowing!

Last year the Court Managers and Owners of Great House Court and Holmesdale Manor collaborated to record ‘The Secret Garden’ to highlight awareness of Connie, a local child, who is 3 years old. When she was 6 months old her family were told that she had suffered bilateral brain damage caused by lack of oxygen either before, during or after her birth. This has caused a condition called Periventricular Leukomalacia (PVL) which has led to her having Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy. The recording of 'The Secret Garden' has been enjoyed by all Owners.
It was certainly a time for celebration as the Great Hall at Brompton Court filled with excitement to celebrate Lena Hack’s 90th Birthday! A wonderful spread of food and drinks were flowing. Mrs Hack, who was an avid ballroom dancer for many years, got up and danced beautifully with her dance partner of years gone by. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house! With live music to boot, it was a wonderful evening that was hugely enjoyed by all.
Many thanks to Suzie, Carl and all Brompton staff who helped to make this event such a success! Montrose Court had a lovely surprise visit from Holy Trinity Primary School last week as part of their Care in the Community school project. Children wanted to ask the owners some questions, find new pen pals and spread cheer around Hoylake. They kindly brought some biscuits and cakes for owners to enjoy at coffee morning. Owners are writing letters to send back to the pen pal requests and look forward to welcoming the school children back for a carol concert over the Christmas period.
Darwin Manor held a coffee morning in aid of the RBL Poppy Appeal including a raffle and collection; we are all excited to hear from the RBL to confirm how much was raised.
We had really great firework night celebration here at Browning Court including a lovely meal of sausage and mash, followed by fireworks in the garden with a coffee and hot toddy to keep us all warm, all topped off with toasted marshmallows.
Browning Court had a 'Wear it Pink' day to raise money for the Breast Cancer charity. The staff and owners all wore something pink and there was a coffee Morning with a beautiful stall of homemade and donated cakes. We raised a brilliant £205.00.
Another successful event supporting the Armed Forces at Deercote Court... we have raised a brilliant total of £240.00 for the Royal British Legion. Coffee served with Krispy Kreme doughnuts were a hit this morning!
Owners and staff at Deercote Court had an amazing time at our brilliantly themed Halloween party this weekend. The atmosphere was really electric with a lot of residents taking to the dance-floor.
