Our Owners here at Browning Court enjoy the Sunday evening craft group! So far they have made Autumn and Christmas wreaths, chocolate Santa sleighs, followed by these fun gonks. This is a light hearted, artistic group that brings lots of laughter and enjoyment. In January, the Bowls will begin again, along with Monday's Keep Fit and Tai Chi on a Wednesday.  The owners and staff at Darwin Manor held a baby shower coffee morning for Manager Jenny. Owners donated items to make up two lovely hampers, one for the baby and another for Jenny, her husband and daughter. Alston Court Owners and their guests gathered again to enjoy a festive lunch, our chef Debbie pulling out all the stops to serve a delicious meal enjoyed by all. Simon, the son of one of our owners, performed in the Gresham Court lounge for Christmas on the 17th December. Some of our owners got up and had a dance. We hope Simon can come again!
Gresham Court enjoyed a lovely evening of carols performed by the Purley Baptist Church accompanied by Cello and piano. Phil Beal performed a seasonal reading and every one enjoyed having a good sing. A special thanks to Alan who organised and Duty Manager Alex who hosted.
Mr Pritchard recently celebrated his 80th Birthday at Eastbank Court with Bucks Fizz, Irish stew and an Irish band, followed by a delicious Birthday cake and dancing. The event was very well attended and thoroughly enjoyed by all. Wishing you peace, joy, and all the best this wonderful holiday has to offer. May this incredible time of giving and spending time with family bring you the happiness that lasts throughout the year. We wish you a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year 2025!
