Holmesdale Manor has had a beautiful display this year, with the addition of stunning pots, fabulous Acers, new borders and a sensory herb and vegetable feature. Huge thanks to our owners and particularly Maggie Beaumont for all the tender loving care in helping the plants get through a fabulous hot summer.

A very special lady, Mrs Margaret Harvey celebrated her 100th birthday on Thursday the 23rd of July. She enjoyed champagne and chocolates from Kingsdale and a lovely day out with her family. On her return her neighbours at Holmesdale Manor were waiting for a surprise happy birthday sing along. Happy birthday Margaret!
Many thanks to John Barrington for organising the Christmas Carols 2019 and keeping the tradition going. It was a lot of fun and we all had a good sing. The mulled wine and mince pies were a welcome start to the Christmas season too.

Holmesdale received a lovely review from one of their guests:
“The bed was extremely comfortable and the power shower worked well. There were plenty of towels on a heated rail. The room was very quiet and I had a great night’s sleep.” A good time was had by all at the Holmesdale Manor Christmas do this year on Thursday the 20th of December. Once again, the lounge was completely packed. A wonderful event enjoyed by all.
The carol concert on Friday the 14th was a lovely evening for all at Holmesdale Manor. Highlights included Tom’s conducting, Frank and John’s comedy duo and a recital form Pat.
