On Thursday 11th January all the owners at the Bowling Green threw a surprise party to help their manager, Ian, celebrate his 65th birthday. The only problem is the birthday boy isn’t in the photo as he is behind the camera! Anyway, everyone had a lovely time enjoying the buffet and a glass or two of Cava.

Meggan, one of our housekeepers, is leaving Brompton Court on the 7th January after over 3 years of service. She will be working in the Care industry with Luxury Care, which is the start of her planned career path to social work. We would also like to congratulate Anna Smith who has accepted a Housekeeper Assistant position with us on a permanent basis. We thank Meggan for all her hard work over the years and she will be truly missed by us all. Good Luck!
The festive season was celebrated in earnest this year at Gresham Court with residents enjoying a delicious Christmas meal which came together beautifully with the help of veteran Chef Sean and fresh to the fold Karl. This was followed by lovely meals on Christmas Day and Boxing Day, with residents being able to invite guests to share in the festivities. We also started 2018 in traditional style with an evening of canapés and sparkling wine on New Year’s Eve followed by an amazing and very busy New Years Day where we entertained many guests and family members. We all thoroughly enjoyed this Christmas and are looking forward to more activities and trips together in the coming year.

A wonderful end to 2017.
