Today, 32 residents enjoyed a Platinum Jubilee Afternoon Tea organised by the Social Committee. With plenty to eat and drink the afternoon included the installation of a plaque commemorating the recent planting of a crab apple tree for the Platinum Jubilee of HM Queen Elizabeth II.
The Owners, Managers and a couple of retired staff enjoyed a lovely afternoon cream tea. The sun shone, lots of chatting and catching up with old friends for the first time in well over a year. The afternoon cream tea was delivered in lovely box from a local company.
The residents of Priory Manor held their annual Macmillan Coffee Morning on Thursday 26 September. Many residents contributed lots of handicrafts and, of course, lots of cakes and baked goodies. Together with a raffle, an amazing £600 was raised for Macmillan Cancer Support. The Social Committee would like to thank everyone for their fantastic support for this very worthwhile charity.
Saturday 22 June was the day that 30 residents enjoyed an Afternoon Strawberry Tea arranged by the Social Committee. The time? .......Pimms o’clock of course.

The Cakes Devoured, The Sandwiches Sublime (M & S, of course) And the Pimm's Flowed. A great afternoon for all. Several ladies at Priory Manor have been busy knitting around 100 Innocent bottle tops in aid of Age UK – The Big Knit Campaign.
December is a busy month here. A visit from the Salvation Army early in the month kicks off the festivities, which is always well received. The Christmas buffet is organised by the Social Committee. This event is always well supported and enjoyed by all.

Our Social Committee have been very busy organising the Sunday lunch for May. 35 Owners enjoyed roast beef with all the trimmings and Eve’s Pudding for dessert.
