Holmesdale Manor owners raised a fantastic £326 during a Macmillan coffee morning on the 13th October.
There was coffee (and tea!) aplenty for everyone at Brompton this year, when the Court joined in with the rest of the Nation to fundraise in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning for Macmillan’s Cancer Support… And what a fabulous morning it was! Cake galore, various competitions to win a bottle of Champagne, Whisky, a ‘Guess the Weight of the Cake’, a wonderful array of beautifully wrapped gifts to purchase and some great raffle prizes too! From beauty treatments, to complementary meals in restaurants, to chocolates and even a free MOT for some lucky car owner!
Mrs Hack, who has been the driving force of this event for a number of years now, was so delighted that once again the generosity of so many of the Court Owners and Staff, their friends & families, meant that the total raised this year was in excess of £1,400.00. An outstanding achievement, considering the current challenges that so many are facing. A huge thanks to everyone involved, especially to Mrs Shieldhouse who donated so many of the home-made cakes on the day, to “Judy’s Jams” who again has been so amazingly generous with all the jams she has made this year and to all the Staff for their support here at Brompton, with special thanks on the day to Carl, Suzie, Nicola, Claire, Kimberley & Mariza. |
