The external redecoration of Alston Court is going well. The exterior render has been cleaned. The balcony handrails have been repaired and repainted a rich terracotta. With the white ceilings and newly painted doors the property is being restored to its former glory.

Haven Court came 2nd again in the Seaton in Bloom ‘Communal Residential’ Category. Well done to all.
Eastbank Court has been busy raising money for Charity. Our Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday 29th September was very well supported and raised a grant total of £452.81p! £236.68p of this was raised by a very popular Tombola Stall run by one of our Owners, Mr Keith Graham.
Another Quiz evening in aid of the R.N.L.I. was held on 10th October and the fish & chip supper was appreciated by all. We raised a fantastic £100.00. The owners and staff all went pink on Friday 20th October to raise money for Breast Cancer Research. The owners enjoyed tea and crumpets in the Great Hall and played win it pink game, along with our local pianist Alex who was enjoyed by all.
Owners enjoyed a Chez Fred fish supper and chefs famous lemon meringue pie in the dining room, followed by an evening playing a variety of board games. The evening was enjoyed by all. The night ended with coffee in the Great Hall.
Mrs Lena Hack with the help our staff organised this year’s Macmillan Coffee Morning in the Great Hall. We had lots going on from table top sales, raffles, guess the weight of the cake, cake sale and name the teddy bear.
The event was a great success raising over £1200.00 for Macmillian. The Land Girls were back at Brompton by popular demand again this year. The owners enjoyed tea and cake with a good sing along to their favourite songs. The flags were waving high and owners had a cheery time!
The very generous residents, friends and family of Grange Court raised Over £443 on Wednesday 27th Septmber.
Eastbank Court raised £452.81 for MacMillan Nurses at their coffee morning!
