35 owner’s have enjoyed the flavours of the East with our Guest chef ‘Nick’.  Fun was had by all and the wine and beer went down very well too!  Pakoras, Samosas & Onion Bhajis Served with Poppadoms Pickles & Chutneys, Chicken Ginger and sweet pepper curry, Lamb Pasanda, Bombay Potatoes and many other sides.

To celebrate the 400th anniversary of William Shakespeare 45 owners attended an Evening with Shakespeare dining event.  Mr Foster organised and produced several scenes from Macbeth, Hamlet, Romeo & Juliet, Henry VI and The merchant of Venice.  Staff and Owners had the chance to put their Thespian skills to the test, and fun was had by all.
 
Mr Myland very kindly organised a fascinating visit and talk from the world renowned Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.  2 Musicians informed us of the upcoming activities and events that the orchestra will be hosting including the return of the local Meyrick Park open-air Proms in the park. 20 Owners were treated to an unexpected Violin recital in our Great hall. A beautiful surprise and a real treat.

 Mr Wade had a day at RAF Coningsby as he was an engineer with 617 Squadron in the war (Dambusters) (not many left now) this was arranged through the Battle of Britain Flight, a great day was had. Mr Wade even went into a Lancaster, this brought back some memories.  The engineer in charge now even asked Mr Wade how things were back then and he told them, some things were wrong which will now be put right.  Lunch was provided for Mr & Mrs Wade in the Lancaster Lounge, this is a day he will remember.  

 We now have one single apartment on the market and a number of new owners have been welcomed recently, with three more due to arrive in August and September.

Recent events in June and July have included a garden party to celebrate the arrival of the new garden furniture, a well attended  Father’s Day Lunch and a Wimbledon Strawberry Tea.

The recent redecoration of the lounge, games room and dining room is now being completed by the reupholstering of the dining room chairs and new linen and table mats.
