Brook Court held a fantastic Halloween buffet lunch today, where Mrs Farmer and Mrs Riad became joint winners for the best dressed.

The owners at Darwin Manor enjoyed a visit from guide dogs Woody and Unity, along with a talk on guide dogs. Following a collection they were able to sponsor a puppy called Albus.
Music, fajitas, chili, and tequila sunrise followed by cinnamon churros and piñatas... A fabulous feast with lots of laughter!
Our owners were very generous with their coffee morning donations, all for a good cause. Harroway Manor raised £186 between 18 people by paying just a bit more for their coffee and cake! Well done to them all and hopefully it will go towards helping someone in greater need.
Yet another hugely successful event that has raised over £1,000 for this very worthy cause. Our Great Hall was filled with Owners and guests, the coffee was flowing and there was an abundance of home-made cakes, jams, chutneys, toiletries & lots of wonderful items for purchase; plus a marvellous raffle to boot! Lena Hack, a long-term Owner here at Brompton, has been the Macmillan ‘Champion’ for a number of years and we thank her for all her efforts. We know she will be delighted with the success of this annual event. Huge thanks also go to Mrs Shieldhouse for her support, our ‘Star Baker’, each and every cake absolutely delicious! Suzie and the team did a wonderful job, as always, in bringing everything together and organising this fantastic annual coffee morning.  |
