Many thanks to John Barrington for organising the Christmas Carols 2019 and keeping the tradition going. It was a lot of fun and we all had a good sing. The mulled wine and mince pies were a welcome start to the Christmas season too.
A fabulous celebration was facilitated by Kathleen and the team at Holmesdale; a good time was had by all.
Eastbank's Christmas Party Weekend, which was held on 14th and 15th December for the Owners and their families, proved to be another very popular event and was a great success thoroughly enjoyed by all. Mr Graham organised another impressive raffle raising an amazing £650; the proceeds will be split between St Richard’s Hospice and the Alzheimer’s Society. Laura was also at the Court selling many Christmas goodies, which owners enjoyed looking at and purchasing.
Browning Court enjoyed a second pre-Christmas Lunch with Owners, families and friends! Everyone was welcomed with a glass of Baileys, followed by a traditional Christmas lunch, and topped off with mince pies and coffee.
The social committee at Brackenbury Manor organised for the owners to collect food items, toiletries and knit hats for Jimmy’s Night Shelter. Jimmy’s came to give a talk about the work they do and collect the items donated.
