Browning Court's Macmillan Coffee Morning was a great success. Owners stayed until lunch time enjoying their tea, coffee, cake and catch up. Homemade cakes made by our brilliant cook, Natalie.

Browning Court has been unwinding from the Summer and getting ready for Autumn, but not without our last Summer Barbecue which was enjoyed by all. There was also an impromptu Raffle and we served Homemade Steak burgers and Fresh Onions, with a Tropical Juice.
As the weather is changing we are hosting a number of activities including Coffee Morning's in conjunction with bringing a range of fashions. We are now also serving Hot Chocolate in the Bistro along with Scrambled egg and Bacon! Making the most of the gorgeous weather, owners organised their own pizza night. New owners Mr and Mrs Ward fetched the Pizzas and owners joined them in the garden in the evening bringing their gin and tonics with them! They enjoyed it so much they are planning for it to be a regular event.  Celebrating 10 years since Browning Court opened, staff members and owners that have been at Browning Court. Sandwiches, cakes and tea were served along with Champagne to toast to the next ten. A great afternoon was had by all. Owners enjoyed a fabulous party on Saturday at Browning Court in celebration of the exciting Royal Wedding, including a beautiful cake made by our cook, Natalie. Salmon pate followed by Lamb Shank with duchess potatoes and asparagus, a Royal Trifle with Logan berries, blackberries and raspberries, and champagne was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
Owners are delighted that Marks and Spencer have opened a new Simply Food just a short walk from Browning Court. The store manager is looking forward to welcoming Owners.  Tea and coffee, bacon rolls, croissants with strawberry jam and the newspaper... a lovely morning at Browning Court!  The owners at Browning Court were treated to two amazing musical performances, including 'River Dance', on the cello and violin from one of the owners Daughters, Sara. The afternoon was comlimented with home made cheese straws and wine, also provided by Sara. As a thank you, the owners presented her with a basket of beautiful red flowers.
A Christmas buffet followed by musical entertainment was a great start to the festivities. Owners enjoyed a nightcap of Bailey’s chocolate truffles.
 A range of gifts were on offer from local companies including Sainsbury’s. Shopping made easy at Browning Court, especially as mulled wine and mince pies were served.
All residents at Browning Court enjoyed a delightful and successful coffee morning with a raffle and lots of delicious cupcakes, raising a total of £120!
Mrs Doris Baker, 85, spends her spare time knitting tiny hats for the premature baby unit at Peterborough City Hospital. The wool is donated by friends and family. The hospital are delighted with this generous kindness.
Owners continue to enjoy a busy social life. The new committee have lots of new ideas for everyone to enjoy. The gardens are coming into bloom and looking great. The communal areas are about to be re-decorated. New lighting is being installed, curtains and wallpaper replaced.
