| On Tuesday 4th June the owners got together for “A Day at the Races” to celebrate Brook Court being opened for 20 years. We started the day off with four races, followed by a short interval for a Strawberry Tea of fresh strawberries, homemade scones, jam and cream. We continued with another four races to end the day. It was a thoroughly enjoyable day and some owners had an added bonus of a pocket full of winnings. Even those who had never bet on the horses before found it great fun and revelled in the excitement. We would like to say a special thank you to previous owner Mr Arthur and his partner who organised the races, and to Helen Morrell, Kingsdale's Estates Director, who saw Brook court built, witnessed many changes over the past 20 years, and who found the time in her busy schedule to join in the celebrations. |   |
