Tuesday April 2nd, saw the return of Brompton Courts ever popular Quiz night under the ever-watchful eye of ace quizmasters Carl Milner (Court Manager), ably assisted by new duty manager Mr. Donald Halliday.
In all 36 people attended and all reported how much fun it had been but a few of the ladies did optimistically comment that perhaps a few less sports questions may well would have seen them ‘romp to victory’.
The winning team - ‘Grahams Gang’, captained most ably by Mr. Graham Harrison, won by a whisker and each member of the team received a bottle of wine; mercifully there were no reports of drunkenness or rowdy behaviour! Several of the owners brought chocolates and other epicurean delights with which to share around.
The whole evening was a great success with repeated calls for “we must do this again – and soon!”
